Tuition Support
If you are a SEIU 1021 member who received Tuition Support from a previous grant in the 2022 – 2025 timeframe, your maximum reimbursement for this program will be $5,250 minus your total previous reimbursement.

Tuition support is provided through a grant funded by the California Workforce Development Board (CWDB). The Education Fund and SEIU 1021 are excited to offer up to $5,250 in reimbursement for nursing-related educational expenses for tuition, mandatory student fees and textbooks to eligible SEIU 1021 members.
We can reimburse you for expenses including, but not limited to, the following:
Nursing Degree and Certificate Programs
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
- LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse)
- ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing)
- ADN to BSN
- BSN to MSN
- Master’s in Nursing (MSN)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Nursing Educator
- Nursing Administrator
- Research Nurse

- Drug Screenings

Sign up or log into MyEdFund portal. Once you have registered onto the portal, reach out to your assigned counselor directly by phone or email to discuss your program of interest and the application process.
Please note: Approval is not guaranteed and space is limited. You must be active in your program and, reimbursement must be for payments made between July 1, 2025 through April 30, 2027.
