Advancement Programs

Our advancement programs offer support for groups of employees who are seeking certifications in their field, or who want to train for a new job with their employer. Some programs, like those listed below, are offered as open enrollment classes. Most are programs that are designed to meet a targeted need on the part of a specific department, facility or employer.

After 20 years as an environmental services worker, Reggie Williams was ready for a change. He found the Sterile Processing Tech Apprenticeship program through The Education Fund, SEIU-UHW and Kaiser Permanente that catapulted him into a new career. Watch the video.

Interventional Radiology (IR) Training Program

Must have 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist at a participating facility in Southern California

Accepted participants will receive online didactic training provided by Loma Linda University, full-time pay during 24-week clinical rotation, and have the ARRT-IR advanced certification fee covered.

Pharmacy Tech Certificate Exam Review Class

Must currently be employed as a Pharmacy Technician.
Designed to prepare Pharm Tech’s to sit for and successfully complete the PTCB exam. Courses will take place every other week for four hours. In addition there will be coursework outside of class.
