The Education Fund offers Medical Assistants the Continuing Education they need at no cost through CE Direct, as well as our $1,500 CEUs reimbursement program.
To apply for any of the courses below, first log in or register for MyEdFund, our new, secure member portal. You can then sign up for a specific program by finding it in the “Available programs” link within MyEdFund.

Powered by Relias, CE Direct is one of the largest providers of Continuing Education for the healthcare industry with over 28 approved AAMA courses, where you can remain up-to-date with your CE requirements. To take these courses at no cost, log in or register for MyEdFund, our new, secure member portal. Then look for “Continuing Education” in the “Available programs” link within MyEdFund.
Continuing Education Reimbursement
The Continuing Education Reimbursement program is here for you if there’s a CE training you attended (online or in-person) OR certification exam you’ve taken. Learn more on how to request reimbursement through this program.
Telehealth Basics
The Education Fund, in partnership with Portland Community College, is offering an online self-paced telehealth basics training, available at no cost to you! This course is available to all healthcare workers. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for this course for Medical Assistants. (Although the course is open to all, no other classifications receive CEUs for this course.)
Telehealth Basics
Telehealth Basics will teach important skills and knowledge on the following topics: the benefit Telehealth has on patient outcomes, maintaining screen awareness with a professional presence, best practices for cultural sensitivity, and more!
