Foundational Math and Science

Strengthen your academic foundation with online college prep courses offered through the Kaiser Permanente School of Allied Health Sciences (KPSAHS).

Open to all eligible Education Fund members regardless of employer, these courses are designed to help you build the math and science knowledge needed for future educational, career advancement, and healthcare training opportunities.

Available courses:

  • Basic College Math
  • College Algebra
  • Biology
  • Anatomy & Physiology

Courses are online and can be completed at your own pace during a 6-week session. Course materials are available 24/7, giving you the flexibility to learn on your schedule. These non-credit courses are a great way to refresh foundational knowledge, prepare for future academic coursework, and develop skills that support your professional goals. Certificates of completion are available upon successful course completion.

Registration for the 2026 Fall session is now open through October 11.
Classes begin October 19.

How to register: Log in to the MyEdFund portal and select Available Programs > Preparation and Critical Skills > Medical Terminology, Math, and Science > Answer the required questions and be redirected to the KPSAHS registration form to complete their application.
