We are excited to share that employees at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) voted to keep the Education Fund in their contract, reaffirming the value of these benefits for UHW and 121RN members. Following HPMC’s submission of its 2026 payment for both bargaining units, our team is working quickly to restore services and ensure members can once again access Education Fund programs and resources.
This outcome is a tremendous win and reflects years of strong participation, positive utilization results, and partnership between members, the union, and the Education Fund. Special thanks to the team members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to support members, manage the process, and maintain communication with union and employer representatives. Their dedication helped make it possible for HPMC employees to continue receiving the benefits they chose to keep in their contract.
