The Inspiration to Pursue Further Education

With the help of the Education Fund, Carmen McDowell successfully completed the Medical Assistant pathway program through SFSU, expanding her skills and knowledge. This experience has not only made her more confident in her current role but has also inspired her to pursue further education in nursing.

Carmen’s goal is to become an RN or LVN, which will enable her to better support her family and achieve financial stability. When asked what she would tell her peers about using the Education Fund, she shares, “It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself, you should look into it.” Encouraged by her success, Carmen strongly recommends using the Education Fund as a valuable tool for career growth.
