Digital Badging with Credly
The Education Fund has partnered with Credly’s Acclaim platform to offer digital credentials for all trainings in the Critical Skills Webinar Series. These digital credentials offer learners a way to demonstrate acquired skills on topics ranging from emotional intelligence to service excellence to adaptability and resiliency.
Digital badges are verified proof from a credible source that show the world that whomever has earned a credential has verified knowledge, skills, or abilities. They also help learners publicize their accomplishments on social media, on a website and in their email signature and demonstrates that a learner’s knowledge is up to date.
How to Claim a Badge:
- Attend a webinar training in the Critical Skills Webinar Series.
- Click Accept your badge in the notification email from firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Create a new account or log into an existing account.
- Claim your digital credential (you will also be asked if you would like to auto accept future badges from the Education Fund).
- Share your digital badge on destinations such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

In this training, we will acknowledge and discuss the stresses and challenges created by this pandemic. You’ll learn how to apply research-backed tools you can use in the moment to de-stress and keep moving.
Resiliency in Changing Times
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed with the rapid changes taking place in technology, communication and working conditions during this global pandemic.
So how do you develop the mindset and strategies to stay resilient and growth-oriented? This training will give you the mental framework and tools you need to prepare for change and to maintain a growth mindset amidst uncertain times.
Developing Emotional Intelligence During Difficult Times
Emotional Intelligence revolves around the ability to notice emotional ques and get your brain working when emotions are high. In this workshop, you will learn the science around fascinating tools you can use right away to make intelligent decisions when emotions and stress normally get in the way.
What Do Patients Want? The Key to Enhancing the Patient Experience
This training provides focused tools for working in the hospital setting and improving interactions with patients. Participants will put themselves in the patients’ shoes and learn effective ways to make the patient experience one that feels safe and secure such that the patient can reflect a positive experience on the surveys they take when returning home.
Working With Challenging Patients: Coping With the Impact of COVID-19
This workshop aims to address tactical strategies for successfully dealing with escalated patients, particularly those impacted by COVID-19. Participants will share their own experiences working with challenging patients at their jobs and will learn how to better understand these patients from an empathetic, trauma-informed perspective.
Cultural Sensitivity: Increasing Patient Engagement Through a Cultural Lens
This course seeks to increase participants’ understanding of implicit bias, where it comes from and how it shows up. Participants will be guided through a reflective activity to increase their own awareness of their own identities. Lastly, participants will explore tools and strategies to increase their ability to meet client needs in a medical setting.
