Mental Health First Aid Training

The Education Fund is excited to bring you an exclusive 6-hour Mental Health First Aid training provided by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. This no cost training will equip you with skills for identifying, understanding, and responding to signs of mental illness and substance abuse disorders by becoming aware of warning signs and other risks factors. Take the fear and hesitation out of starting conversations about these sensitive topics by registering for this class. It will provide you with the necessary tools to deal with these situations head-on!

The online training for the Mental Health First Aid certificate consists of a 2-hour self-paced pre-work course and a 6-hour instructor-led video conference on Zoom. The pre-work must be completed to receive access to the live class. This training is available to all Ed Fund eligible members.
