Eligibility & Application

How do I become eligible for a Career Pathway?

Review the information regarding the pathway by finding it on the main Career Pathway page. Most Pathways require attending an information session. See the full schedule of Info Sessions. After the information session, schedule a Meet Your Counselor appointment through the MyEdFund portal with your Career Counselor to discuss your eligibility, and, if suitable, gain access to the online application.

When can I apply?

You may apply after you have completed your Meet You Counselor (MYC) appointment. The application is available in the MyEdFund portal, under the Available Programs tab, and will remain open for thirty (30) days from the date of your MYC appointment or until the application deadline, whichever is sooner.
Please note: Late applications will not be accepted, no exceptions.

When will I hear about my application status?

Applications take approximately ten (10) business days for processing once submitted. Your application will be reviewed and if accepted, you will receive an email with next steps.

Do I need to apply for each Career Pathway individually?

Yes, however, you may only participate in one (1) pathway at a time. If you are interested in pursuing an additional pathway, you must meet with your Career Counselor to discuss whether you will be eligible to apply for an additional pathway.

What if the Career Pathway I want to attend is full?

If the Career Pathway is full, you will need to wait and apply during the next application cycle. The Education Fund is unable to guarantee space once a program has reached capacity.

Program Offerings

What pathway offerings are currently open?

Current available Career Pathways vary by region and demand. Please view the schedule of Information Sessions to see what is available.

A pathway I am interested in is not being offered. Why? When will it become available?

Pathways and availability are based on workforce need, learner demand, and regional offerings. Please check the schedule of Information Sessions to see what is available, and keep in contact with your Career Counselor on a regular basis to learn when new Career Pathways become available.

Why is a pathway only offered in a particular region or location?

Some pathways require in-person training, clinical experience, or employer partnerships that are only available in certain regions.

Are most programs hybrid, in-person, or online?

Program formats vary. Some pathways are fully online, some hybrid, and others require in-person attendance depending on the training and employer requirements.

Are positions available in every pathway?

Most pathways are designed to align with workforce needs, but availability may vary by region and employer demand.
